IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Do NOT Promote Any Affiliate or
Associate
Program Unless it
Meets the Following Criteria!
Are you looking for an affiliate program or associate program to promote? If you are, we
would like to suggest that you consider some of the following suggestions before you decide on promoting program.
Lets look at a few
things:
1) Does the affiliate program track sales
and orders using a single "session cookie" or a
cookie that will last 10 years or more?
Comment: If you promote some of the affiliate
programs out there, you get a commission at the time
of sale, but as you read through the fine print on
the website it appears they don't set cookies or the
cookies expire within 30 days, so if someone buys 6
months later you don't get a commission.
A lot of affiliate and associate programs use what
are called "session cookies" which means you only
get paid if the person buys within 24 hours of
clicking on your link. Worse than that, with some
programs you only get paid if they order via your
link immediately when they go to the website. What
this means to you is, you've spent all this time,
energy, effort, trouble, cost and expense promoting
to search engines, building a link, getting traffic,
opt-ins and clicks and in the end you're left
holding empty opportunities. That doesn't leave you
feeling with much of a great feeling in the end.
HBIRC sets the cookies to NEVER expire. So, we can track sales
literally for as long as we are promoting the web
site from the time the person clicks on your
associate link, limited of course by the technical
aspects of cookies. But it's one heck of a better
opportunity than only paying you if someone buys
within a 24 hour period.
So here is another surprise you and I both know with
most affiliate programs, you are driving the traffic
to the site and the affiliate program owners are
getting the money from your traffic - and you're
walking away empty handed, RIGHT!
HBIRC is different, and in a very big way. The
owners of HBIRC are not part of the affiliate
program. Only the members are part of the affiliate
program. HBIRC is a business and the partners or
owners do want to generate a revenue from it.
However it will not be as a result of the affiliate
marketing because they are not part of it.
By the way the partners or Faculty at HBIRC decided
that we are not going to call the program and
affiliate program but an Associate Program. Why?
Well, it's really simple. Every member in HBIRC will
have the opportunity to signup as an Associate
Program Member, however the Associate Program is
only open to MEMBERS not the general public. As a
result we believe you are our associates in business
and not just an affiliate. Our goal at HBIRC is to
help people and along the way build long lasting
business and maybe personal relationships.
2) Does the affiliate or associate program
offer support on weekdays so customers can get
answers to their sales questions and customer
service problems on the spot?
So you go out on a limb and recommend a product,
then the customer buys it and can't download it or
has some other similar problem. There's no immediate
support, they send an email and they don't get a
return response for 3 days.
Now how do you think the customer feels about you
and your recommendation at that point? Probably not
too keen, right? What do you think they are going to
do next time you make a recommendation? They're
probably going to pass on it.
Question: Do you
want to treat your customers like that, or do you
want return business and happy customers?

3) Does the associate program offer
commissions on recurring billing products that pay
you month after month on auto billing?
The back end is very important to me and to you.

15-days free trial. You will get your 25% on the
first tier and 10% on the second tier of the monthly
recurring billing commissions. And this is not on
just 1 product. We will have many such products.
4) Does your associate program offer you a
wide variety of tools you can use to promote their
products or services?
You need tools to promote with. Whether the tools
are tips you can put on you website, articles,
banner ads, pop ups, and so forth. Because you're
busy and you've got other things to do with your
life so shouldn't the associate program owner(s)
give you tools to promote their products and
services with?
We think so. You will have access to the
HBIRCAFFILIATE.com site that gives you an arsenal of
tools, and, at least twice a month we send out
additional emails, tools that you can use to send to
your list or put on your website to generate
additional revenue.
5) Does your affiliate program offer you
contests and cash prizes?
In addition to the associate program commissions, we
will every month have a contest with the
opportunity to win a cruise for two on Carnival
Cruises. This is over and above the commissions we
pay out, of course.
We try to make it fun to promote our program because
with a lot of programs, you sign up and the only
thing you get is an automated thank you, if and when
you make sales.
6) Does the associate program offer
support where you can get YOUR questions answered?
Let's say you need your associate program ID or have
a commission question.
With HBIRC, we will have someone on weekdays to help
you so all you need to do is go to our support page
and click the support button. (The hours are 9:00 AM
EST to 4:30 EST, Monday to Friday!) We think that's
important. It's not cheap to provide this service
but it does help you.
We hope this has been an eye opening experience. As
you can see, not all associate programs are created
the same. We are trying to go outside the box
and provide the best solution and business opportunity that we can.
